A six-month plan you can actually play
Give your study session a mission.
Read the clues. Make your choices. Handle a surprise. Then say or write what you would do. Each mission ends with explained answers and a new reason to try again.
Alongside the game, you get a 26-week study plan, speaking cards, writing practice and exam guidance. Built for English-speaking adults with A2 foundations preparing for DELF B1 tout public.
Choose. Practise. Come back stronger.
Play a mission.
Use the clues to answer six questions. A change of plan makes you read carefully and decide what matters.
Use your French.
Take on a speaking challenge and a writing task. Reusable planning sheets help you organise your answer.
Check and replay.
Read why each answer works, note what needs practice and try the replay challenge. Track progress in your mission passport.
Open the guide. Try the useful bit.
The party moved. Your French has a job to do.
The kit gives you clues, then changes the plan. Here’s a taste of Mission 01. Spot the catch, meet Lina and find a reply that works.
01 / Read between the lines
Free entry. One tiny catch.
Apportez un plat si vous le pouvez : ce n’est pas obligatoire. L’inscription est gratuite mais nécessaire avant jeudi midi.
You can skip the cake. What can’t you skip?
Spot the catch
Registration before Thursday noon. Gratuite means free; nécessaire means required. Bringing food is optional. The little connecting words do the work.
Train your eye for the detail that changes the answer. The French gives you the evidence.
02 / Handle the twist
You forgot to register. Oups.
Il reste deux places, mais je dois vérifier la liste. Vous pouvez patienter cinq minutes ?
There may still be room. Keep the conversation moving.
Borrow a reply
Bien sûr. Où est-ce que je peux attendre ?
Of course. Where can I wait?
Accept the short wait, then ask a useful follow-up. That’s a move you can reuse in another conversation.
Say your reply before opening it. More than one polite sentence can work.
After the choices: a speaking challenge, a writing task and an explained debrief. Then try a new twist.
One kit, two ways to play: the interactive PDF and matching Print A4 edition are both included.
Your next move
That was one twist. Keep going with 26 missions.
Give your B1 practice a six-month plan, with speaking and writing challenges along the way.
Open it. Put it to use.

Room to think, speak and write
More than choosing A, B or C.
Use the larger writing sheet for a full answer. Keep the speaking rescue cards nearby when you get stuck. Practise alone or follow the partner guide with someone else.
The answer explanations help you learn from a choice. Open speaking and writing tasks are self-assessed; individual teacher feedback is not included.
A few things you might be wondering.
Do I get both versions for $9?
Yes. Your purchase includes the interactive PDF and the printable A4 PDF. Each has about 300 pages, with the same content and page numbering. This is one DELF product, paid for once.
Can I start as a complete beginner?
This kit assumes A2 foundations. It helps you work towards DELF B1 tout public, with instructions and explanations in English. It is not a complete beginner’s French course.
How does the interactive edition work?
Download it, open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer and save a personal copy. Choose answers and use the correction button, then replay when ready. The PDF stores your written notes and progress when saved. The game does not send your answers to us.
Can I use it on a phone or in my browser?
You can read it and follow links in many viewers, but PDF forms and scoring scripts are supported differently. For the full interactive experience, use desktop Acrobat Reader. For paper practice, choose the included Print-A4 file.
Is this an official DELF publication or a pass guarantee?
No. This is independent preparation for DELF B1 tout public. Game points are not DELF marks and do not predict a pass. The kit explains official criteria and links to sources; registration, exam fees and examiner services are not included.
Does it include audio or personal marking?
No audio files or individual teacher marking are included. You receive links to official audio, scripts a helper can read aloud, model answers, explanations and self-assessment tools.
How current is the exam guidance?
This edition is dated 23 September 2026. The sources distinguish official exam information from learner experiences. Check your exam centre for its current dates, fees and registration arrangements.
Is the Visa pack included too?
No. The Visa pack is a separate $9 product. This purchase contains both editions of the DELF B1 kit only.
