Trial Lesson — Test the Method, Get a Clear Plan
The Trial Lesson is your first one-to-one session using Roger’s French to English method. In one lesson, we check your level, work on a real topic, and design a realistic plan so you know exactly what to do next — whether that’s guides, weekly lessons, a 4-week booster, or DELF prep.
Instead of booking “random classes” and hoping for the best, you get a structured introduction with clear English explanations and concrete feedback on your French.
What happens in your trial lesson
- Quick level & goals check — where you are now (A0–B1) and what you want: travel, life in France, work, exams, or just feeling comfortable speaking.
- Pronunciation & basics scan — we listen to how you speak and identify 2–3 concrete things to fix first.
- Real mini-lesson — not just a chat: you learn a structure, a set of phrases, or a pronunciation pattern you can use immediately.
- Q&A in English — you can ask all the “embarrassing” grammar or pronunciation questions you never dared to ask.
- Personalised roadmap — at the end, you leave with a clear plan (guides + lesson frequency + focus areas) tailored to your life and schedule.
Roger’s method behind the lesson
Your lesson follows the method created by Roger, a British-born, Germany-raised, trilingual French coach (🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇪) and author of the French to English guides. He has spent thousands of hours teaching English-speaking adults from absolute beginner to DELF level.
The core idea is simple: French explained in English when it helps your understanding, then practised in realistic French dialogues so you can actually speak — not just fill in grammar gaps.
Is the trial lesson for you?
- You’re an absolute beginner (A0) or false beginner who wants a safe, structured first step.
- You already know some French, but feel blocked, confused, or stuck and want a fresh start.
- You want to try the method once before committing to Weekly 1:1, the 4-Week Booster, or DELF prep.
- You prefer one clear strategy from an expert instead of piecing together apps and YouTube videos.
